Laura Hernandez Elected President Of Regional Disability Attorney Organization

On February 11, 2017, Laura Hernandez was elected President of the Fifth Circuit Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (FOSSCR) in Biloxi, Mississippi.  The Fifth Circuit is comprised of federal courts within Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.  FOSSCR is a specialized bar association of attorneys and advocates representing individuals with disabilities before the Social Security Administration.  FOSSCR provides continuing legal education conferences to attorneys practicing disability law.

Laura is a prolific speaker about the intricacies of disability law and has spoken to national, regional, and local groups of attorneys seeking her valuable insight into effective representation.  Now Laura will have even more impact by helping ensure disability attorneys can remain well-informed about disability law.
