Third Time is a Charm!

Third time’s a charm for a 54 year old woman with partial complex seizures, osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia. She was awarded benefits all the way back to 2007!

This client came to our office in the middle of her long fight for her benefits. She had previously been represented by another law firm at a hearing and lost her case. She won on appeal, but then lost at another hearing. Then she came to Morgan & Weisbrod. After successfully filing an appeal for her claim for a second time, a new Administrative Law Judge was assigned to her case. Her conditions caused convulsions, dizziness, headaches, and pain in her joints and tissue. We obtained updated medical records and statements from her doctors regarding her physical abilities. The information gathered was considered by SSA’s medical expert who gave his opinion that because of her conditions, she could not have worked at any job since 2007. She will be receiving over 6 years of benefits owed to her as well as ongoing financial and medical benefits.
