Velda has worked for Morgan Weisbrod since 1992 serving as Intake Paralegal interviewing prospective clients and supervising the submission of representation forms and any necessary appeals. She also files appeals as necessary for existing clients and is the liaison with SSA for problem cases. Velda graduated with high honors from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Work. Velda also received her paralegal certificate with high honors from the Southeastern Paralegal Institute. Velda’s interests include varied activities with her grown children, grandchildren, gardening, animal care and music.
