Morgan Weisbrod Attorneys Visit Washington, DC For NOSSCR

Morgan Weisbrod  attorneys Laura Hernandez, Michael Kelly and John Driskill recently attended the semi-annual conference of the National Organization of Social Security Disability Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) from May 6-9, 2015 in Washington, DC. While there, Ms. Hernandez and Mr. Kelly presented an informative lecture on “Disrupting the Path to Denial”. The presentation discussed the strategies of submitting Interrogatories and Subpoenas to Program Doctors to dispute faulty rationales used in denials as well as uncovering the discrepancies in said Program Doctors’ reports, policies and procedures. There were many attorneys in attendance at the lecture and the presentation was valuable information shared with others whom are committed to representing the disabled population in their Social Security disability claims.

While at the conference, the attorneys were able to meet with several congressional leaders on Capitol Hill and also enjoyed some sightseeing.
