Attorney John Driskill recently had the privilege of speaking at the 2015 Continuing Professional Education Tax Expo sponsored by the Houston CPA Society. John’s topic was the disability enrollment process and included various facts and figures about approval rates by judges, the difference between SSI (a welfare benefit) vs. Social Security insurance benefits (funded by federal taxes), when eligibility begins for Medicare vs. Medicaid, etc.

John is scheduled to make a similar presentation to the Continuing Legal Education seminar sponsored by the National Board of Trial Advocacy on February 6, 2014 in Houston, Texas. For more details on that presentation, visit the National Board of Trial Advocacy’s registration information.

If you or someone you know need a speaker for an organization to enhance knowledge of the Social Security disability process, please contact Morgan & Weisbrod, at 800.800.6353 (ask for Sally at ext. 139). One of the attorneys from Morgan & Weisbrod, L.L.P. would be pleased to speak about any aspect of the Social Security disability process to your group. Also, a more specifically tailored presentation can also be made. For example, if the audience involves a specific medical condition, a presentation could focus on how that particular condition is evaluated by SSA. Contact our team today with any questions.
