Client with crushed ankle and rheumatoid arthritis awarded benefits

This 53 year old former nurse's aide, through no fault of her own, became disabled when she had a crushing injury to her ankle.  Because she already suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, this additional medical problem made her unable to perform her job as a nurse's aide.  She was recently awarded $23,000 for three years of back-pay, and is now receiving ongoing disability benefits and medicare.
