Ms. Carter has been with Morgan & Weisbrod since 1991. Beginning as Mr. Weisbrod's legal secretary, Ms. Carter soon transitioned into the role of Mr. Weisbrod's paralegal, and ten years ago took on the additional role as the firm's administrator. Ms. Carter continues her paralegal duties in dealing with the Social Security Administration, but her other responsibilities include the day to day operation of the firm, managing personnel and making advertising and purchasing decisions. A graduate of Texas Tech University in 1984 with a BS in Secondary Education, Ms. Carter also holds her Paralegal Certificate. Outside interests include fitness, home improvement, and watching and participating in many different sports.

Velda Wade

Velda

Velda has worked for Morgan & Weisbrod since 1992 serving as Intake Paralegal interviewing prospective clients and supervising the submission of the initial representation forms and any necessary appeals. She also files appeals as necessary for existing clients at the hearing level. Velda graduated with high honors from the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in Sociology/Social Work. Velda also received her paralegal certificate with high honors from the Southeastern Paralegal Institute. Velda's interests include varied activities with her grown children, gardening, animal care and music.

Tasha Dansby

Tasha

Tasha Dansby joined Morgan & Weisbrod in June of 1996. Ms. Dansby is currently the payment paralegal and is responsible for making sure claimants receive their benefits after their Social Security Disability claim is approved. Ms. Dansby's persuasive skills are useful when dealing with the Social Security Administration. Ms. Dansby's outside interests are reading, community involvement and church.

Tracy Nelson

Mrs. Nelson joined Morgan & Weisbrod in June of 2000. She has held various positions within the firm starting with the initial level of appeals, later promoted to medical development specialist, and most recently promoted to Legal Assistant for Michael Kelly. Mrs. Nelson has been married for 25 years, volunteers in her community and loves to read.

Deana Decker

Deana

Deana Decker is the legal secretarial assistant to Carl Weisbrod. She has worked for Morgan & Weisbrod for 5 ½ years and has an Associates Degree from Richland College in Dallas, Texas as well as a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Texas at Denton. She utilizes her sixteen years experience as a legal secretary/assistant to assist Mr. Weisbrod in obtaining successful outcomes for our Social Security Disability clients by procuring medical records; scheduling vocational and mental evaluations; and coordinating all levels of appeals (Appeals Council, Administrative Law Judge and Federal District Court) with Social Security Administration personnel.

Jennifer Allen

Jennifer

Ms. Allen joined Morgan and Weisbrod in 2004. Once we assume representation of your case, Ms. Allen will handle the submission of our representations forms and will follow up with Social Security to ensure the submission is processed correctly and efficiently. While your case is pending at the initial and reconsideration levels, Ms. Allen will handle your case. When needed, Ms. Allen assists Ms. Wade with intake interviews, as well. She recently acquired her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice and is looking forward to furthering her education. Outside interests include various activities with her son, staying actively involved in his extra-curricular endeavors, watching and playing sports, and home improvement.

Cynthia Brooks-Delgado

Cynthia

Cynthia Brooks-Delgado has been employed at Morgan & Weisbrod as a legal assistant to senior partner Jennifer L. Fry since February 2006, and has recently been promoted to the position of medical review paralegal. Her primary responsibility at Morgan & Weisbrod is to review and submit medical documentation that is supportive of a case, request consideration for decisions based upon the medical evidence in file (without waiting for an actual hearing) when warranted, and to prepare our clients to attend consultative examinations, to merit the most of the exams as possible. Prior to working for Morgan & Weisbrod, Ms. Delgado was a paralegal in a tax law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as well as a paralegal in a civil litigation law firm in Dallas. Ms. Delgado graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University. Ms. Delgado is currently in training for a marathon.

Jay Hernandez

Jay joined Morgan & Weisbrod in 2006 and maintains our file room as well as manages the scanning of all of our documents and purchasing of office supplies. Jay also continues to pursue his college degree in the evenings and enjoys playing guitar and watching movies.

Benjamin Hinojosa

Mr. Hinojosa moved to Dallas in June 2006 and has worked for Morgan & Weisbrod since May 2008. Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley, Mr. Hinojosa attended the Science Academy of South Texas to study the arts and sciences. Mr. Hinojosa makes sure our client's cases have a solid foundation with medical development before a hearing is scheduled. This helps the attorney focus their concentration on the finer details of our client's case. Mr. Hinojosa has previous experience in the Social Security disability field.

Alondra Verduzco

Alondra joined Morgan & Weisbrod in September 2008 as the legal assistant to attorney Laura Hernandez. Recently, Alondra was promoted to legal assistant to senior partner Jennifer L. Fry. Growing up in California, she received her Associates Degree in General Education from Chaffey Community College. Alondra plans to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Donna Chaussee

Donna

Donna joined Morgan & Weisbrod in November of 2009. Donna is a Legal Assistant who works directly with Mr. James Skelton and his clients. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on international marketing and accounting, from the University of Texas at Dallas. Donna loves to play ice hockey, and is a big fan of all sports.

Joanna Maldonado

Joanna joined Morgan and Weisbrod in 2009. She is the legal assistant to Laura Hernandez. Once a case has a hearing scheduled, Ms. Maldonado will handle the development of the case and the submission of medical records, as well as all levels of appeals. Joanna has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and is looking forward to furthering her education. Outside interests include spending time with family and friends and playing sports.

Lauren Townsend

Ms. Townsend joined Morgan and Weisbrod in March 2009. Once we assume representation of your case, Ms. Townsend will handle the submission of our representation forms and will follow up with Social Security to ensure the submission is processed correctly and efficiently. Ms. Townsend is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Sociology. She is currently attending The University of Texas at Dallas pursuing her Master's Degree in Criminology and Sociology.

Mrs. White joined Morgan & Weisbrod in February of 2009. She assists Ms. Dansby in the payment department and answers inquires from clients to ensure understanding of benefit information. She is currently pursuing a degree in Paralegal Studies.

Kyle Sturdivant has been with Morgan & Weisbrod as Paul Burkhalter's paralegal since 1999. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston and has also been working as an actor in Houston for the past 18 years.

Justin Pack

Justin

After moving from Dallas, Justin began working for Morgan & Weisbrod's Houston office in 1998. He started as a file clerk/runner for Morgan & Weisbrod and quickly took on other duties in the firm. Justin's main job is to make sure the files are kept organized and to ensure that all records are submitted to the court. He also handles all document scanning in Morgan & Weisbrod's continuing effort to conserve our natural resources and make the world a better place.

Andrea Nerbonne

Andrea has been with Morgan & Weisbrod as Carolyn Shulman's legal secretary since 2009. She received her bachelor's degree at Oklahoma State University. In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling, sewing, caring for dogs, and cooking and baking.
